Three Sweet Snoopys to Make

Each of these patterns comes from Crochet with Aybi, a YouTube channel I keep going back to for amigurumi. The tutorials are calm, well paced, and easy to follow even without narration, with stitch counts shown clearly on screen as you go.

Classic Snoopy

If you're after the Snoopy you remember from the Sunday comics, this is the one I'd start with. The proportions land in that sweet spot between cartoon and cuddle, and the soft white chenille gives him that fluffy, hug me kind of finish you don't get with regular yarn. He's the perfect size to perch on a shelf or tuck into a gift basket.

It uses about 100g of thin chenille yarn in white, plus a small amount of 5ply rainbow yarn in black and red for the ears, nose, and details. You'll need a 3mm hook, and the finished Snoopy stands about 13cm (5.2 inches) tall. The tutorial is split across two videos, so be sure to watch part 2 for the assembly.

Chunky Snoopy with a Heart

This one is my favorite when I want something extra squishy. The chunky chenille gives Snoopy a rounder, softer shape, and the little heart he's holding makes him an obvious choice for a Valentine's gift, an anniversary, or just a sweet pick me up for someone you love. He looks especially good in pink and white, but the pattern works in any color combination you like.

You'll need 100g of chunky chenille in white, 50g chunky chenille in black, 50g of thin chenille in pink, and a small amount of milk cotton yarn in red for the heart. The recommended hook is a 3.5mm (6/0), and the finished piece is about 12cm (4.72 inches) tall. There's a small correction noted in the video for the mini heart, so check the description before you start.

Snoopy with a Heart Balloon

This is the one I'd reach for if you want something a little more whimsical. Snoopy holds a tiny heart balloon by the string, and that one extra detail turns him into a styled little keepsake instead of just a plush. He's gorgeous on a nursery shelf, and he photographs beautifully if you sell finished pieces.

It works up in 5ply milk cotton yarn with a 3.5mm hook, and the finished Snoopy stands about 14cm (5.5 inches) tall. The heart balloon has its own separate tutorial linked in the video description. Keep an eye out for the on screen correction for the body part on row 11, which the creator notes during the video.
